Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to assess teachers in education. This type of research is combination research (quantitative and qualitative). Research subjects were 55 people. The research data was obtained through questionnaires, peers, interviews, and data from the analysis using a percentage formula. The results of the study found that pedagogic competence: (1) For the questionnaire the average total score was 4.2. (2) For peer rankings average total score of 4.0, with the achievement level of respondents 80% remaining in the "good" category, (3) Average productivity score of 4.0, with an achievement level of respondents 80% in the category " good ", and (4) For the results of interviews that discuss the principal, curriculum curriculum and 7 heads of productive majors, with the conclusion of the" good "category. While for the competence of the soul is obtained (1) For the questionnaire the total score is 4.3. (2) For the rank of peers the average total score is 4.2, with the achievement level of respondents 84% ​​in the "good" category, (3) Average productivity score 4.1, with 82% respondents' achievement in the category " good ", and (4) For the results of interviews that discuss the principal, curriculum curriculum and 7 heads of productive departments with the" good "category.

Abstract

Preventive maintenance is considered as a method to avoid unexpected failure in production machines. Unfortunately, conducting such maintenance is limited by resources availability thus likely causes tardiness. This research aims to minimize total tardiness of preventive maintenance on production machines by developing a scheduling model. This scheduling model takes the availability of time and labor into account to get an optimal scheduling model that can minimize the tardiness. The model of preventive maintenance schedule is developed by using the Integer Linear Programming method. This method provides output in the form of preventive maintenance schedule through a purpose function which considers the specified constraints on the company. As the result, the developed model could propose a preventive maintenance schedule which reduces the total tardiness.

Abstract

Dalam dunia teknologi informasi yang menggunakan komputer sebagai medianya, maka keamanan data (pesan) menjadi aspek yang sangat penting dalam sistem teknologi informasi. Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menjaga keamanan data tersebut adalah algoritma kriptografi One Time Pad (OTP). OTP dipilih karena merupakan algoritma sederhana dan belum dapat terpecahkan. Kunci yang digunakan pada algoritma ini haruslah kunci yang benar-benar acak sehingga kerahasiaan pesan didalamnya dapat terjamin, maka digunakanlah metode pembangkit bilangan acak Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) atau Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR). Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0. Hasil dari pembahasan ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengenkripsi dan mendekripsi plaintext menggunakan algoritma OTP dan LCG/FLSR sebagai pembangkit kunci.

Abstract

Abstract— This research aims to analyze the mastery level of pedagogical competence of PPG teachers of SMK, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The research method used was quantitative descriptive and qualitative methods. The data collection techniques were by using a questionnaire, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research showed that the pedagogical competence of PPG teachers of SMK was still low as seen from the average score of each indicator categorized in the less powerful category. The results of this study can be used as an illustration for the future of the learning of PPG teachers of SMK by lecturers in improving the mastery of pedagogical competence. Abstract

Abstract- Extracurricular program is a learning process in which performed outside of school. The study attempts to explore the components of context, input, process and product of extracurricular program at Al-Khoir Islamic boarding school. In this study, the evaluation model used by Stufflebeam namely the CIPP (context, input, process, product) evaluation model. This study used mixed method; qualitative and quantitative. interviewing was carried out with the teacher (qualitatively) while scoring students’ test result (quantitatively). The findings showed that the components of context, input, process, product and results of extracurricular program at Al-Khoir Islamic boarding school were categorized as good. Therefore, Al-Khoir boarding school could maintain the extracurricular program and continue to improve any perceived shortcomings after evaluating the program. Thus, in this study, students are suggested to be more active and serious in extracurricular programs because it is very useful for them to add their knowledge and skills. It is suggested to make the improvements to each component of the context, input, process and product and to be more active and innovative in designing curriculum and planning before doing the extracurricular programs. Abstract

This study is an implementation of the STEMProcsi model that aims to 1) Knowing the students ' understanding of learning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathemetic, Projects and Simulation (STEMProcSi). 2) to measure student skills in using the STEMProcsi components that produce a project, and 3) Assessing students' attitudes towards the STEMProcSi learning model. This research used 15 students as sample of Computer and Informatics Engineering Education (PTIK) in the odd semester of the academic year 2019/2020. The research procedure was carried out in trhee steps; 1) provides problems that are solved by concept maps using the XMIND application, 2) Complete calculations using the Microsoft Excel application, and 3) Create interactive products with the Scatch application. The research instrument uses a questionnaire with 5 liker scale. Based on data analysis, the results of this study indicate that the application of the STEMProcSi model can generate interest and enthusiasm of students in understanding the material, practice critical thinking, creative, communicative and collaborative and can produce an interactive product. Therefore it can be concluded that the STEMProcsi model is good to be used in the learning process for exact subject courses in tertiary institutions.

Abstract

4C (Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking) skill-based Problem Based Instruction (PBI) is student-centered learning so that it can do problem solving activities and make students think more critically, present creative ideas and communicate with the lesson more broadly. The learning model is a planning guide in determining the set of lessons in the classroom. Learning on students is still centered on the teacher or conventional so it does not provide opportunities for students to express ideas as if students think in communication, collaboration, creative and critical thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of the 4C Skill-based Problem Based Instruction learning model on electronic learning outcomes. The 4C skill-based PBI learning model uses a quasy type of experimental research. In this study the effect of the treatment (treatment) was analyzed by different tests, namely the group received different treatment, namely the experimental group PBI learning based on 4C skills and the control group with conventional learning (two groups). From the results of the study showed an increase in the average value of learning outcomes of the experimental class was higher than the increase in the average value of the control class. It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who use the 4C-based problem based instruction learning model are better than students who use conventional learning.

Abstract

This article aims to create a competency based training module on graphic design printing subjects. This study uses a research and development model with four methods namely define, design, develop, and dessiminate. To determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning outcomes seen by one group pre-test and post-test. The population in this study was all students of grade XI majoring in multimedia at SMKN 1 Ampek Angkek, totaling 30 students. In this study seen how much influence the learning outcomes on the CBT module.

Abstract

All The problem of the research is the absence of supporting learning media in learning activities of computer network, are not optimal mastery of concepts by students, and abstract teaching materials that need to be made more concrete, as well as using the use of smartphones in the 4.0 revolution industry. This study aims to develop learning media augmented reality and produce media that are valid, practical, and effective on computer network subjects so that they become alternatives as learning media. This research is a research and development (R&D) using the IDI model. Data analysis techniques for practicality using percentages, and effectiveness of the control class and the experimental class. In conclusion, the augmented reality learning media develop can valid, practical and effective to be used as a learning media on computer network subjects.

Abstract

In the learning process Basic Electricity and Electronics material, students are constrained in understanding the subject matter, because it uses formulas that are difficult to understand without adequate supporting learning media. Besides the learning time Basic Electricity and Electronics material which is only available 4 hours per week, so that not all materials can be delivered optimally to students. Therefore learning needs to be supported by suitable and adequate media. The purpose of this research is to produce a learning media based on mobile learning that is valid, practical and effective for Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used follows the Borg & Gall model which is arranged in several research steps. The instrument used in the form of a validation questionnaire was given to material experts and media experts. Questionnaire to measure practicality is given to students and teachers of the subject matter. To measure the effectiveness of the Quasi experiment research design used by comparing student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that the learning media based on mobile learning was declared valid, practical and effective for use in the Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects.
